Keep Them Close ("the app," "we," "us") is a parenting communication app. We built it to respect your privacy. This policy explains what data the app handles, what stays on your device, and what may be shared with third-party services when you use certain features.

The short version: Most personal app content stays on your device. We do not sell data, we do not run advertising, and we do not use third-party tracking. Some limited information may be shared with service providers only when needed for subscriptions or AI-powered coaching.

INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE

The following information is stored locally on your device:

• Child profiles you create, such as a name and age
• Your progress, notes, reflections, saved items, and coaching history
• Your app settings and notification preferences
• Your AI consent preference

If you delete the app, this locally stored information is removed with it.

AI FEATURES AND THIRD-PARTY DATA SHARING

Keep Them Close includes an AI-powered coaching feature called Haven. When you use Haven, the text you submit in the Haven chat, and any related conversation context needed to generate a response, may be sent to Anthropic to provide the AI coaching response. Anthropic is a third-party AI service provider.

We do not intentionally send your name, email address, or account information to Anthropic as part of the Haven request unless you type that information into the Haven chat yourself.

Anthropic processes the submitted text for the purpose of generating a parenting coaching response. You should not submit sensitive personal information, including full names, addresses, medical details, financial information, or other private information into Haven.

Anthropic's privacy practices are governed by their privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy. Haven will not send your submitted text to Anthropic until you have provided in-app consent.

PURCHASES

Keep Them Close offers an optional auto-renewable subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment card details.

We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat may receive a random, app-generated identifier and your purchase or receipt information so it can tell the app whether your subscription is active. This data is not linked to your name or email by us.
